Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton has claimed people are dying amid the coronavirus crisis due to US President Donald Trump’s “failure publicly health, leadership, and humanity”.
After the US President warned Americans to brace themselves for a “rough two-week period” as new projections suggested between 100,000-240,000 people could die from the disease even with social distancing measures in situ, Clinton attacked the president on Twitter, reports Independent.
Retweeting a post that showed the Trump ahead of chart that showed possible cases of fatalities when he warned the citizens of getting two-weeks of catastrophe ahead. The US President has received widespread criticism for being very slow to require seriously the potential impact of the virus.
On Tuesday, the number of infections within the US passed 180,000 and therefore the number of deaths hit 3,800.
